Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the matchmakeco website, its services, APIs, and the AstroPrime AI astrologer, formerly called AstroBot (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

matchmakeco provides astrology-based compatibility reports (Matchmaking), personal horoscopes (Your Energy), the AstroPrime AI astrologer, zodiac cards and games, daily blog content, and a marketplace where you can book paid sessions with independent astrologers, coaches, and practitioners. The Service uses user-provided birth data to generate analyses based on Vedic and Western astrology principles, and is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. matchmakeco is not a licensed matchmaking, counselling, or fortune-telling service and does not provide medical, legal, financial, or relationship advice.

3. Eligibility and Account Responsibilities

• Age: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service.
• Account access: Accounts are created and accessed via Google OAuth. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Guest preview: Some features can be tried without an account, subject to per-device limits we set and may change. Guest usage is governed by these Terms; creating an account links your guest activity on that device to your account.
• Accurate information: You agree to provide accurate birth data for any individuals analysed. The accuracy of our reports depends entirely on the accuracy of the data you provide.
• Third-party consent: You represent that you have obtained the consent of any third party whose birth details you submit to the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Infringe any intellectual property rights of matchmakeco or any third party.
• Harass, abuse, defame, or discriminate against any person.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or otherwise extract proprietary components of the Service.
• Use the Service for any automated, bulk, or commercial resale purpose without our prior written consent.

5. Coins and Payments

Certain features of the Service require Coins, a prepaid in-app currency purchased via Razorpay. Coins are spent on paid features such as compatibility reports, personal horoscopes, AstroPrime messages, and marketplace bookings, at the prices shown in the Service at the time of use. If a paid generation fails on our side after Coins were deducted, those Coins are refunded to your balance automatically. Coins are non-transferable and have no cash value. We do not offer refunds on Coin purchases except as required by applicable law. All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise.

6. Marketplace Bookings

• Independent practitioners: Astrologers, coaches, and other practitioners listed on the marketplace are independent providers, not employees or agents of matchmakeco. Their advice and services are their own; matchmakeco facilitates discovery, scheduling, and payment.
• Scheduling: Sessions are held online. When a booking is confirmed you receive a calendar invitation with a video-meeting link at your account email.
• Payment: Bookings are paid with Coins or via Razorpay at the price shown when you book.
• Cancellations and refunds: You may cancel free of charge until 24 hours before the session start; cancellations after that point are refunded at 50%. If the practitioner cancels or does not attend, you receive a full refund. Any different policy shown at the time of booking prevails for that booking.
• Conduct: The Acceptable Use rules in Section 4 apply to sessions. Practitioner guidance is informational and is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, or financial advice.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service, including design, text, graphics, logos, the AstroPrime persona, and generated reports, is the property of matchmakeco or its licensors and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. Reports generated for you are for your personal, non-commercial use only and may not be redistributed or resold.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided for entertainment and informational purposes only. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.

matchmakeco makes no warranty that the Service will be error-free or that results will be accurate, reliable, or suitable for any particular purpose. Astrological interpretations are based on established traditions but should not be treated as absolute truth or as a substitute for professional advice. We do not guarantee any specific life outcomes, including relationship compatibility or marriage success, based on use of the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, matchmakeco and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, our aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless matchmakeco and its affiliates from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature survive termination (such as disclaimers and limitations of liability) shall continue to apply.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any concerns informally before initiating legal proceedings.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
